Peter Balmforth

Peter has twenty years of experience in the medical device industry in roles including clinical & technical support, training and education, sales and marketing, business development and strategy and leadership roles in operations and management. Peter’s career has focused on novel, new technology, start-up enterprises including Endocardial solutions (acquired by St Jude Medical), Ablation Frontiers (acquired by Medtronic), Atritech (acquired by Boston Scientific), ROX Medical (acquired by Edwards Lifesciences) and Nisonic. Peter has also had several consulting roles for Bluegrass Vascular, Bardy Diagnostics, Recor Medical & SINTEF, evaluating go to market strategy, distribution channels, regulatory and reimbursement strategy. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s degree in Clinical Physiology, has 5 peer reviewed, published papers and 13 published patents.
